Dusseldorf, August 1, 2022. 7Pines Resort Sardinia, a luxury beach resort overlooking the archipelago of La Maddalena, officially opened its doors on August 1. 7Pines Resort Sardinia - the first Destination by Hyatt property in Italy- offers guests tranquility and casual luxury on one of Europe's most famous coasts.
"We are delighted to officially open 7Pines Resort Sardinia and allow our guests to enjoy the typical 7Pines luxury," said Jörg Lindner, founder and managing partner of 12.18. Investment Management. "With its exceptional location, gorgeous surroundings and outstanding design, 7Pines Resort Sardinia is predestined to become the retreat for vacationers from all over the world who expect sophisticated travel experiences paired with first-class and luxurious service."
The Surroundings
7Pines Resort Sardinia, with 76 rooms and suites, is a seafront resort nestled in the naturally curving coastline of Baja Sardinia. It is surrounded by 15 hectares of pristine coastline and nature reserve and is just a stone's throw from the Costa Smeralda. Nestled in centuries-old rock formations, it has a network of paths that wind through extensive natural gardens to the resort's five secluded and unspoiled beaches along the brilliant blue coastline.
The Rooms and Suites
The resort blends naturally with its surroundings, offering guests a wide selection of rooms, junior suites and suites. The different room and suite categories are located in three distinct locations within the resort: The Gardens is surrounded by trees and shrubs; The Laguna, a collection of large rooms and suites, are clustered around the tranquil Laguna pool; and The Sea Views is uniquely located within the resort, in close proximity to the beach.
Responsible for the design of the 76 rooms and suites is Cagliari-based architectural firm Piazza Martiri 7, which drew on local Sardinian elements and resources such as light fixtures and furniture made from the wood of juniper trees typical of the island. Like the resort's architecture, the interior design takes its cue from Sardinia's nature and culture.
Materials and colors derive from the environment with which each domicile is associated. Warm tones of old juniper and granite are combined with light stone; special accents are provided by the blue and turquoise of the Mediterranean Sea, picked up in the furnishings. The blue tones characterize the bathrooms as ceramic tiles made by local producers. The natural materials give the rooms their neutral colors and evoke the landscape of the resort's 15-acre gardens. The sea-view rooms, the Suite Del Principe and the 68-square-meter Suite Smeralda overlook the 7Pines' beaches and have direct beach access.
Restaurants & Bars
Guests can embark on a culinary journey of discovery at the hotel's three on-site restaurants: Capogiro, the hotel's main restaurant, offers seasonal dishes with produce delivered fresh from local farmers and fishermen. At the poolside restaurant Spazio, vacationers can get light snacks during the day and enjoy casual lunches, while drinks at the Beach Bar are brought directly to the loungers. The Terrace Bar offers unparalleled sunset views - best enjoyed with an aperitif or cocktail in hand.
Cone Club
Located in a picturesque waterfront setting between granite boulders and the emerald sea, the Cone Club is open from lunchtime to late evening for resort guests and outside visitors alike and is accessible directly by land or via the resort's private pier. The concept: beach bar with full-service daybeds, lounge, restaurant and a club second to none. Two Michelin-starred chef Tohru Nakamura developed the Cone Club menu in collaboration with local producers, farmers and fishermen. The Mediterranean dishes are a tribute to the joy of life, influenced by Sardinian traditions and adapted to the character of the place with excellent, relaxed beach cuisine. The ideal accompaniment: signature drinks devised by internationally acclaimed mixologist Philip Bischoff or the magnificent wines of Sardinia, perfected over centuries of winemaking.
Events and meetings
With its unique location in the lush natural surroundings, 7Pines Resort Sardinia offers the perfect setting for a variety of events. With up to 342 square meters of event space, the resort is perfect for weddings, cocktail receptions or gala dinners and other events. More formal meetings can be held in the two interconnectable meeting rooms. The latter connects perfectly to the rooftop terrace for informal outdoor meetings where you can enjoy cocktails and ocean views. The hotel's own Lemon Garden also provides a picturesque backdrop for events of all kinds.
Holistic wellness
The 7Pines Resort Sardinia's approach to wellness is distinguished by its holistic offerings: The in-house Pure Seven Spa offers a range of rejuvenating, natural treatments and invites visitors to forget time in an oasis of tranquility from treatment areas indoors or outdoors.
