Effective February 1, 2022, Uwe Drangmeister became appointed the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of 12.18. Investment Management GmbH. Together with the Founder and Managing Director, Jörg Lindner, he will be responsible for managing the financial fates of the company. Drangmeister will consequently lead a 45-strong team at the Düsseldorf Head Office location, with the company employing over 1,000 staff worldwide.
After studying Business Administration in Paderborn, Seville and at the INSEAD Business School, Uwe Drangmeister worked successfully in the banking sector in Germany, France and Luxembourg for Deutsche Bank, Sal. Oppenheim and most recently at EAA, the winding-up agency of former WestLB. One of his prior commitments brought him to Tanzania, Africa, where he worked on a development project financed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Uwe Drangmeister is married and has two sons.
